The approach
The structure is the difference.
Different parts of a talent career need different kinds of representation. Next Nova Talent is built specifically around the commercial company underneath the person: the brand, the opportunities, the rights, the production, the administration and the money.
The person stays at the centre. The structure is built around them, not the other way around.
The model
The person is the business.
Everything Next Nova does sits in a ring around the talent: building, negotiating, producing, administering and reporting. The ring never becomes the centre. There is a small commercial company, built and run underneath your name, that exists to create more commercial value while requiring less of your attention for the administration underneath it.
The structure is deliberately individual. Each relationship is built around that person's commercial position, priorities and opportunities rather than a standard programme.
This is not a criticism of agencies. Specialist modelling agencies do castings and fashion bookings well, and this model is designed to coexist with them. If you are represented for castings and fashion work, that can continue exactly as it is. Next Nova Talent takes on the commercial company around you: strategy, direct brand relationships, licensing, contracts, production and the administration.
Control
Nothing is signed away. Nothing is owned by us.
Representation is proposed as a commercial partnership around your business, not a transfer of it. The division of responsibility is deliberate and it is written down: what is yours stays yours, and what we take on is clearly defined and actively managed.
You keep.
- Your name, likeness and image
- Your audience and your accounts
- Your existing relationships
- Your creative direction
- Which brands, which travel, what price
- The final decision, every time
We handle.
- Opportunities, inbound and outbound
- Negotiation, pricing and contracts
- Usage, licensing and exclusivity
- Production and campaign delivery
- Invoicing, payments and follow-up
- Renewals, reporting and the admin
The final decision sits with you, every time: which brands, which travel, what price, and whether a deal happens at all. What changes is everything around the decision. It arrives organised, priced, checked and ready to be made.
Commercial development
Work you don't have to wait for.
Most talent income arrives by inbox. Next Nova Talent runs an outbound commercial function: the brands worth working with are identified, approached, negotiated with and renewed, on a plan, with you approving every step.
It starts with a category map: the categories that fit your brand, the brands inside them, and the people who sign off. From there, a target list becomes a managed pipeline of direct relationships with brands and their agencies, held and worked properly, not a scroll through DMs.
The shape it aims for is deliberate: fewer, larger, renewing partnerships over one-off posts. Ambassadorships, licensing and equity where it fits. Outreach, negotiation and renewal run on a plan, and every step that commits you to anything comes to you first.
- Brand research
- Target relationships
- Outreach
- Negotiation
- Campaign
- Renewal
Commercial protection
The fee is only part of the deal.
A number on an email is not a deal. What the brand can do with your face, for how long, where, on what media and against which competitors decides what the work is really worth. Every agreement is read for the eight points below before it reaches you.
- Usage
What the brand may do with the work, in which media, and what stays off the table.
- Paid media
Whether content can run as advertising, on which channels, and for how long.
- Whitelisting
Whether the brand can run ads through your accounts, and on what terms.
- Territory
Where in the world every right applies, and where it does not.
- Duration
How long each right runs, with the end date recorded from day one.
- Exclusivity
Which categories are closed to competitors, how tightly, and at what price.
- Renewal
What happens when the term ends, raised with the brand before it does.
- AI and synthetic likeness
Whether your face, voice or likeness can be generated, altered or extended, and on what terms, if at all.
Commercial diligence, not legal advice. Where a matter needs a lawyer, one is briefed with the terms already organised.
Private commercial management
Everything visible.
Campaigns, opportunities, approvals, contracts, payments and renewals in one private view. Built and operated by Next Nova for each talent relationship.
The point is transparency, not software. At any moment you should be able to see what is in play, what is owed, what is expiring and what is waiting on you. Nothing about your own business should be a mystery to you, and nothing important should live only in someone's inbox.
Operations
The admin disappears. The decisions stay yours.
Briefs, contracts, usage windows, invoices and renewals are organised the moment they arrive, so nothing sits in an inbox and nothing expires unnoticed. What reaches you is a clear question with the context already attached.
Software supports the administration. It never makes the call.
- Incoming brieforganised and summarised
- Usage requestsurfaced with the terms
- Contractkey terms extracted and flagged
- Invoiceissued, tracked, followed up
- Renewalraised before expiry
- Decisiongoes to you
Deliberately small
Built around a handful of people. Not a roster.
Next Nova Talent is not building the largest list. It takes on a small number of people and goes deep with each of them. That is what makes attention, discretion, commercial depth and founder involvement possible rather than promised.
- Attention
- Discretion
- Depth
- Founder-led
Andrew Becquet leads each relationship personally: strategy, major negotiations and anything sensitive. The operating layer handles the rest. That balance only holds at a small size, which is why the size is a decision, not a stage.
